ICD-9
Changes: Update now or pay later
Failing to update your ICD-9 codes by the
Oct. 1 effective date could cost you.
September
2006
Once
again, Oct. 1 brings more ICD-9 changes. This year, dozens
of codes will be deleted, added or revised. Being aware
of the changes and updating your superbill or coding system
now could save you the time and trouble of correcting and
resubmitting claims that are denied because of out-of-date
diagnosis codes.
A
complete listing of all new, revised and deleted codes can
be found on HyperCereus Medical's LMRPdata.com web site
ICD-9-CM 2007 Updates. HyperCereus
Medical's clients, as usual, will enjoy seamless updating
of the diagnosis codes as all of our references, online
tools, partner web sites and data files have been updated
to comply with the ICD-9 codes that will take effect Oct
1.
